It's no secret Elton John enjoys watching his songs top the music charts. Now, he gets to celebrate another victory. "Hold Me Closer," his collab with Britney Spears, has topped Billboard's Adult Pop Airplay Chart.

This becomes Sir Elton's second #1 song on the chart following his "Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)" with Dua Lipa, which soared to the top in March. This particular leaderboard looks into the amount of times songs are played across adult Top 40 radio stations.

Sir Elton's husband, David Furnish, told the outlet just how seriously the singer takes his music's chart success. "He gets your charts daily. He them printed out on hard copies, because he goes through with highlighters. And he literally has different highlighters for different records he charts – ones from Britain, ones from America, the ones that are going up, ones that are his, ones that he has a connection to. He watches it daily," Furnish dished.

"It feeds a part of his soul. And he’s absolutely over the moon with the way these new records have performed. And you know, you’re gonna see more," he teased.

While this is Sir Elton's second topper on the Adult Pop chart, "Hold Me Closer" marks Britney's first leader.  Previously, her best-charting single was the 2011 effort "Till the World Ends" featuring Kesha and Nicki Minaj.

TV appearances and holiday tours keep some artists busy this time of the year, but others are able to take a moment to stop and count their blessings.

GAYLE's got plenty to be thankful for: She just landed a Grammy nomination, her song "abcdefu" is a global hit and she's opening for Taylor Swift next year. But she gives full credit to the people who made all that possible.

"The fans," she told ABC Audio at the AMAs when asked what she's most thankful for. "For making the song what it is. I wouldn't be here if people didn't add the song to their playlist. I wouldn't be here if they didn't watch the music video ... human beings got me to where I am today. I did not do this by myself."

In 2022, Imagine Dragons released a new album, toured, scored a massive hit with "Enemy" and marked the 10th anniversary of their debut album. Bass player Ben McKee, singer Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon and drummer Daniel Platzman told ABC Audio they're thankful for their kids, cats and being able to go back home to see family. Sermon says he's most thankful for his "bros" in the band.

"A lot of things have changed over the years, but we've stayed close," he notes. "Bros remain bros," agrees Reynolds.

Some people, like ex-Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui, have stopped celebrating Thanksgiving entirely, as it's a reminder of the slaughter of Indigenous people and the theft of their land. But she still has fond memories of a childhood Thanksgiving dish.

"I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, to be honest — you know, colonizer holiday," she told ABC Audio. "I do love stuffing. My mom used to get this mushroom stuffing from this corner market by our house ... it was so good."

Taylor Swift's home on Cornelia Street in New York City — yes, she sang about it on her Lover album — is up for sale and could be yours for $45,000 a month. Corcoran listed the 1870s carriage house-turned-luxury home that Taylor once rented. It has four bedrooms, five baths, three gas fireplaces and more perks fit for a pop star.

ZAYN teased he has something coming out on Friday that features guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. He took to Twitter and teased a brief snippet of what appears to be him singing Hendrix's "Angel," which was featured on the rocker's posthumous album The Cry of Love.

Lizzo danced with Kim Kardashian's daughter North West after her concert in Los Angeles. The reality star shared the TikTok video of North teaching Lizzo a new dance before the group dissolves into laughter.

Sam Asghari has quite the motivational neon sign at his gym — a nod to wife Britney Spears' 2013 hit "Work B****."  He has a bright pink fluorescent sign that says that right above the door. "A little motivation," he captioned the Instagram Story.

Jeff Timmons, Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre of 98 DegreesErik Michael Estrada from O-Town and Jamie Jones from All-4-One teamed up for a cover of "O Holy Night" featuring the Sequoia Symphony. This is part of the group's soon-to-be-launched A Boy Band Christmas Tour, which kicks off December 2.

Adam Devine returns as Bumper in the Pitch Perfect spin-off Bumper in Berlin and a new promo sees the actor belting out a new song by Ryan Tedder. The song is called "Know My Name," which he sings with actress Sarah Hyland. The series premieres on Peacock Wednesday.

GAYLE, one of the openers on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, revealed how the two met up for the first time.

Speaking with E! News, the singer explained, "I was playing at this award show which is called NSAI — Nashville Songwriter Association International — which helps songwriters get more rights, royalties and all of that." Her  song "abcdefu" was nominated for that event.

"It's a very high honor especially because it's writers saying, 'I appreciate the song,'" GAYLE explained before diving into how she and Taylor crossed paths.

Taylor, as it turned out, was nominated for Artist/Writer of the Decade.

"I obviously didn't think she was going to show up," GAYLE explained. "All the sudden I was there and she was there. and I played 'abc' and she came up to me and was like, 'You did such a good job, I love the song' and was being very complimentary and said some very encouraging things."

And the rest was history. GAYLE also took a moment to honor the hitmaker, saying, "Genuinely what she has done for women in Nashville and female songwriters — she showed us we can do it." The teen singer adds she thanked Taylor for inspiring her.

"I wanted to personally thank her for giving me the inspiration to move to Nashville and become a songwriter and I don't think I would be where I am if it wasn't for her showing me I could maybe do it," she said.

Now, fans are curious to see if GAYLE and Taylor will unleash a collaboration. "Anything she wants I am there," she declared.

Mariah Carey might have lost her bid to become the de facto Queen of Christmas, but Camila Cabello may have just found her own seasonal title — the queen of "quismois."

A new meme has hit social media that makes fun of the ultra stylized way Camila pronounces the holiday in "I'll Be Home for Christmas." Instead of saying "Christmas" in the song, Camila sings it like "quismois."

It didn't take long for Camila to catch wind of the new meme, so she took to TikTok to share a fake video showing what supposedly went down before she hit up the recording studio. Camila plays herself and her talent manager, who tries in vain to get her to say the word correctly.

The talent manager tries and fails to get Camila to pronounce the word properly. Camila tries singing it, repeats the phrase "Merry Christmas" and recites it slowly — but it appears the singer isn't aware she is butchering the word.

The vocal coach eventually gives up and tells a delighted Camila, "It's gonna be great."

"Me before recording my version of I’ll be home for christmas (quismois)," she joked in the caption.

Fans are lauding Camila for getting in on the joke, calling it a "queen move" fit for the "quismois queen."

Halsey has a sentimental story explaining why November 21 will always be a "personal holiday."

Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a video of them playing a guitar and quietly singing their song "1121."  The Grammy nominee explained, "It's called that because 11/21 is the day I found out I was pregnant."

"I'm here now singing it quietly... because that baby is asleep in the other room," Halsey's narration continued. "This song was my way of preparing myself for a heartbreak that never came."

Halsey welcomed their "rainbow baby" Ender in July 2021 alongside partner Alev Alydin. The singer previously revealed in an emotional essay to Vogue that they "miscarried three times before my 24th birthday."

"1121" contains the heartbreaking lyrics, "But I won't die for love/ But ever since I met you/ You could have my heart/ And I would break it for you."

Lukas Graham is adding another color to his musical rainbow.

The Danish singer has announced the release of his new album 4 (The Pink Album). It follows 3 (The Purple Album) and his self-titled second release, also known as the Blue Album.  All the albums feature the same artwork -- an image of a 1992 painting called The Lady with the Bottles -- but in different colors.

The album features guest appearances by G-Eazy, country star Mickey Guyton and Khalid. Lukas has just released a video for the Khalid collaboration, "Wish You Were Here," which was co-written and produced by Ryan Tedder.

"When I watch the video to 'Wish You Were Here,' the lyrics magnify and reverberate inside my heart," Lukas says in the video's comments. "Missing the ones I love the most is a terrible feeling, [but] luckily I get to see most of them again. I love the way the visual captures the vast loneliness of the lyrics."

As for the album, it was written following his 2020 decision to get sober and focus on his family: He and his wife have two daughters.  In a statement, the "7 Years" singer says the album is "pure self-reflection," adding, "I’m not saying I’ll never have a drink ever again, but I went clean. It had gotten to the point of self-medicating, so I stopped."

"Over the past couple of years, it became fun to write songs again, go to rehearsal, and work with music," he adds. "I embraced the art of it. I’m not trying to be a professional anymore, because all I want to do is be a happy amateur.”

It's technically not Thanksgiving yet, but Mariah Carey has already started her inevitable march back up the Billboard Hot 100 chart with that song.

"All I Want for Christmas Is You" has re-entered the chart at number 25. That's an improvement on last year, when it re-entered the chart at number 36.

The song, released in 1994, was ineligible to chart at that time. It first made the top 10 on the Hot 100 in December 2017; in 2019, it hit number one. It was also number one for two weeks in 2020 and for three weeks last year.

Two other iconic holiday songs have also returned to the chart: Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and Bobby Helms' "Jingle Bell Rock" at, respectively, number 41 and number 50.

Lee is one of several singers who've been called The Queen of Christmas over the years, along with Darlene Love and full-time Christmas artist Elizabeth Chan. Chan recently stopped Mariah from legally trademarking "The Queen of Christmas" and associated phrases, with help from a lawyer friend who agreed to represent her for free.

"Being issued a trademark means being able to sue someone for using that trademark," says Elizabeth. If Mariah had succeeded, she explains, "She could sue anybody who referred to anyone else [but her] as the 'Queen of Christmas,' or did anything with those words."

Elizabeth's friend agreed to take on the case pro bono because he felt Mariah's actions were a clear case of "trademark bullying."

"He said, 'I will represent you because this is wrong on so many levels,'" she notes. "Not only for your career, but for the people that have come before you, like Brenda Lee and Darlene Love." But Elizabeth also took action, she says, to protect "the future queens of Christmases."

Dua Lipa will be the first-ever recipient of the Collection of the Year award at the Shoe Oscars aka the 36th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards on November 30. Billboard said Dua is being recognized for her Puma x Dua Lipa Flutur Drop 2 collection.

Fans had no idea Justin Bieber was hiding inside of a giant bear costume at a Drew House pop-up show in Tokyo, Japan. He shared images from the event, which celebrated his clothing line.

Taylor Swift is a fan of Kim Petras and told the "Unholy" singer just that at the American Music Awards. Pop Base caught the sweet exchange in which Taylor pulled Kim into a hug and told her, "I love your song so much. I’ve done a lot of butt-popping to that!" It's unknown what song she's exactly referring to, but fans are obviously hoping this means the two will collaborate on a song very soon.

Camila Cabello helped BLACKPINK close out their North American tour by performing a duet with Jisoo. Billboard reports they performed "Liar" together — a song off Camila's Romance album. Camila was decked out in BLACKPINK attire for the show, which went down at the Banc of California Stadium.

Meghan Trainor wants new moms to cut themselves some slack.

The hitmaker chatted with Entertainment Tonight about the things she's learned since welcoming her son, Riley, last year. The singer stressed new moms need to stop beating themselves up.

"Just try to be easy on yourself," said Meghan. "The mom guilt can eat you alive. And that almost happened to me."

As for how Meghan overcame the negativity, she said she "worked really hard on forgiveness."

The singer also spoke about the success of her body-positive anthem "Made You Look," which she said she penned when she was struggling to love her postpartum body. The song has taken off on TikTok, and Meghan said the positive reception is "more than I can ever ask for."

Mostly, she is happy the song is connecting with new moms, too, and now considers those fans part of the TikTok friends she thinks about whenever she's writing songs.

She's been thinking about her fans a lot, it seems, because Meghan is already back in the studio working on her next chapter. "We've been writing a few little tunes here and there," she said of a future collaboration with JoJo Siwa. As for what the two have coming up, Meghan cryptically teased, "We got bangers coming."
